Salary & Benefits
Full health benefits are paid by the district for eligible employees and their dependents including dental, life insurance, and an employee assistance program. MetroED also provides several benefit options using pretax earnings. This increases spending power and protection when unforeseen events put a person at risk such as loss of income, unanticipated medical expenses, or worse. Employee enrollment in the following plans are optional and include a medical flexible spending account, dependent care flexible spending account, additional life insurance, cancer insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and transportation.
